Louisiana Storm Travel to Help Flood Victims

SERVPRO of The Beaches/Ponte Vedra traveled to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to assist other SERVPRO franchises in flood cleanup. We were able to help residents with tear-out, dry-down, and equipment rental. IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) standards recommend the disposal of any porous items that come in contact with category 3 rising flood waters. Rising water can carry contaminants, sewage, and bacteria, and is unsafe to walk through and have in your home.
